Large Size – Natural Mother of Pearl Sea Shells

These are one by one hand selected grey sliver lip shells of mother of pearl. Its thickness is 3.5mm to 5 mm, length is 15-16 cm and width is 13 to 14 cm. Scientific name is Pteria Margaritifera Concha. Common names are nacar, nacre, umm alelulu/alelu and sadaf. The inner lining of shells is pearly that gives a crystalline effect which emits different multi-color shades like prism. These shells are used as carved pieces & motifs in furniture and interior designing of exclusive spaces. Another usage is in titles and mosaic.

Common names are perlmutt, madreperla, madreperola and parlemor.
